Transport Crews
Our highly experienced staff of uniformed Paramedics, Emergency Medical Technicians and CPR Certified Drivers underscore our commitment to excellence.  We also utilize off-duty firefighters from a variety of departments in the metro area, including Del City, Midwest City, Nichols Hills, Norman, Oklahoma City, Enid and Will Rogers World Airport.  All our Paramedics, Emergency Medical Technicians and Drivers take part in rigorous programs of continuing education in order to better serve you. More importantly, they share our commitment to excellence, providing care that is at all times patient, understanding, and sensitive to the patients' needs.

Drivers participate in ongoing training as part of their employment at Trinity.

Equipment
Each Specialty Ambulance is staffed with a Paramedic and Emergency Medical Technician, both licensed and certified by the State Of Oklahoma. Each Ambulance is fully equipped with a LifePac12 Monitor, Ventilation, Portable Suction and all necessary peripheral medical equipment to properly transport critical care patients.  Each stretcher vehicle has a minimum of one Emergency Medical Technician and one Driver that is CPR certified. In addition, each stretcher vehicle is equipped with an automated external defibrillator (AED), oxygen delivery system,  first aid equipment and supplies to handle unforeseen medical emergencies.  A CPR Certified Driver staffs each para-transit van.  Each van is equipped with a Braun 1500 hydraulic lift providing comfortable lift assistance for all our wheelchair patients.  These vans also are equipped with supplemental rear air-conditioning to provide climate-controlled comfort for our patients.

Support Staff
We have a 24-hour dispatch center staffed by experienced and customer friendly professionals.  We also have  fleet mechanics that insure our vehicles are safe and reliable by taking each unit through comprehensive inspections on a routine basis. We have a professional administrative staff dedicated to assisting our customers with questions as well as responding to billing issues.  They provide continuous support for the entire fleet with customer oriented service.

Training
The value of Continuing Education and consistent training programs are a critical component of patient safety and satisfying our mission statement.  We have internal training classes and programs that meet the requirements set forth by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians and the Oklahoma State Health Department  to maintain each Paramedic and Emergency Medical Technician's License.  This training includes 24 hours of core curriculum topics for EMT's, 36 hours for Intermediate EMT's and 48 hours for Paramedics.  In addition, Continuing Education Units are available to all Paramedics and Emergency Medical Technicians to further their education.  Several topics are covered such as drug dosage, electrolytes, diseases and medical conditions.  Classes are also offered in Basic Life Support, ACLS and PALS.  Further, ongoing classes cover training for all equipment utilized to properly and safely treat our patients.  The internal education curriculum offered to all our employees provide the necessary training to advance the knowledge of our Paramedics and Emergency Medical Technicians and further their careers with Trinity Health Transit. Learn about our services.
